So glad we're not looking at tax hikes. Wish we weren't using fund balances, though. That leads to trouble in the future. We need cash reserves for emergencies and to improve our bond ratings. I'd rather see tightening on spending and rollback of 13.85% pay increases to government officials.

Foreclosures are a horrible truth. No one ever wants a foreclosure, but I'm glad the City is taking the appropriate actions to improve the neighborhoods and get these properties back on the tax roles. $258,000 is a considerable recovery in the city budget.
