CORTLAND — The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has released its 2018-19 Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes student-athletes with a 3.3 or higher cumulative grade-point average (GPA).

This year over 1,400 student-athletes have met the criteria across the conference’s 10 full-member institutions and one associate-member institution. Of those 1,400, 141 student-athletes came from Oswego State, an increase of nine from one-year ago.

For the second-straight year, the women’s track and field led the women’s side with 16 student-athletes making the list. Claiming the top spot on the men’s side was hockey, with 12 Lakers earning the distinction from the team.

Among the four class years, seniors had the most honorees with 44 while juniors (36) and freshman (33) were not far behind.

Below is a list of athletes named to the honor roll from each program at Oswego State.
