PLATTSBURGH — The Oswego State women’s hockey team lost 3-0 at Plattsburgh in a Northeast Women’s Hockey League matchup on Saturday.

Abby Brush, Annie Katonka, and Sara Krauseneck each notched a goal for the Cardinals (4-0 NEWHL, 5-0 overall).

Krauseneck, Ivy Boric, Emma Killeen, Erin McArdle and Taylor Whitney provided an assist apiece. Goaltender Chloe Beaubien made 19 saves for the Cardinals.

Rachael Farmer stopped 38 shots for the Lakers.

The Cardinals netted all of their goals in the first period. Brush cracked the scoreboard at 3:15, giving Plattsburgh a 1-0 lead. Katonka bumped the score to 2-0 by putting the puck into the back of the net at 7:43. Then at 9:41, Krauseneck scored on a power play.

Oswego State (0-2 NEWHL, 2-2 overall) hosts Buffalo State on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
