CORTLAND — The sixth-seeded Oswego State women’s volleyball team fell to a 3-0 sweep against third-seeded Cortland, Tuesday in the SUNY Athletic Conference quarterfinal round.

The Red Dragons won 25-10, 25-22 and 25-13.

Melissa Lussier led the Lakers with 17.5 points, 15 kills, five digs and two aces. Shauna O’Flaherty tallied 5.5 points, 14 digs, four kills and a block. Emily Costa racked up 20 digs and an ace, while Lauren Fie had seven points, seven kills and three digs. Skylar Bechard and Julia Flohr each chipped in six digs, with Flohr contributing 27 assists. Shannon Stone added five points and four kills.

Oswego State finishes its season with a 20-9 overall record and a 5-4 mark in the SUNYAC.
