ONEONTA — The Oswego State women’s soccer team were shut out by a score of 3-0 against Oneonta in a SUNY Athletic Conference matchup on Friday.

The Red Dragons took a 2-0 lead into intermission. Christina Kornfeld netted the first goal at 16:04 then Joie Tortorice delivered the second at 33:25.

Oneonta rounded out its scoring effort when Miquela Quiles scored a goal at 53:42 in the second half.

The Red Dragons outshot the Lakers, 17-10, and took a 12-4 advantage on shots-on-goal. Both teams tallied five corner kicks.

Emma Allen and Sophia Portalatin combined to make nine saves for Oswego State. Oneonta’s trio of goalies chalked up four saves.

The Lakers (2-10 overall, 0-4 SUNYAC) take on New Paltz today at 1 p.m.
