Sydney Eure of the Oswego State women's basketball team takes a shot. Sure scored 21 points as the Lakers beat Wells College 67-30 on Sunday.

OSWEGO — Senior Sydni Eure notched 21 points to lead the Oswego State women’s basketball team past Wells College 67-30 on Sunday in Max Ziel Gymnasium.

Senior Erin Gantley poured in 12 points for the Lakers (5-3).

Eure had 15 of her 21 points in the first half as Oswego State took a 38-12 lead at the break.

She was 10-of-15 from the field in the game. Eure also had eight rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes of play in the game.

Taylor Torchia sparked the Lakers with a total of 10 points and led the team with six assists.

Morgan Wolanin and Quincey Zimmerman each finished with six rebounds.

Marie Sapp-Goleski hauled down eight rebounds for Oswego State.

Jordan Jacobs tallied 14 points for Wells (0-9).

Oswego State will host Fredonia at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
