CLINTON — The Oswego State men’s soccer team lost 2-0 to Hamilton College in nonleague action on Tuesday.

Jefri Schmidt notched both of the Contientals’ goals against the Lakers. Jeff Plump provided an assist on Schmidt’s first goal. Schmidt’s goals were netted in the second half.

Hamilton outshot Oswego State, 14-13, and both teams had two corner kicks. Brian Terra tallied four saves for the Lakers, while Thomas Benson made seven saves for the Continentals.

Oswego State is slated to compete in the Skidmore College Alumni Invitational this weekend. On Saturday, the Lakers will face Stockton University at noon. Then on Sunday, Oswego State takes on either St. John Fisher College or Skidmore.
