CASTILE — The Oswego State men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the 41st Annual Mike Woods Geneseo Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The Laker men’s team finished 18th out of 24 teams in the eight-kilometer event.

The Laker women’s team took 13th out of 21 teams in the 6K race.

For the men, Matthew Barbookles led the way with a 76th-place showing (28:20.0). Nathan Couse placed 83rd in 28:43.3.

Emily Gustafson finished in 24:08.4, tying for 29th place in the women’s race. Hannah Hertike claimed 66th place in 25:30.3.

Amelia Alexander, Emily Blake, Yajaira Ramos, and Sarah Rappleye finished in 91st, 92nd, 94th, and 95th, respectively.

The Lakers will run in the Pre-Atlantic Regional at 11 a.m. Oct. 12 in Canton.
