WAPPINGERS FALLS — Oswego’s Miranda Gilbert and Hannibal’s Dillon Plantz competed at the New York State Federation Cross Country Championship Meet on Saturday at Bowdoin Park.

Gilbert, a senior, placed 63rd with a time of 20:12.1 over the five-kilometer course.

Plantz, a senior, came in 81st place in his race with a 5K time of 17:19.1.

Senior Katelyn Tuohy of North Rockland (17:02.5) and senior Sam Lawler of Pittsford-Mendon (15:57.2) respectively won the girls and boys races.

Saratoga Springs captured the girls team title, and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake won the boys team crown.
