OSWEGO — The Oswego JV girls basketball team beat East Syracuse-Minoa, 25-13, in a strong defensive performance Tuesday evening.

“We played straight man-to-man defense the entire way and gave up only four field goals in the game,” Oswego coach Ryan Lavner said. “Even though we are still learning to play defense with our feet and not our hands, the girls defended with pressure that prevented ESM from getting anything going offensively.”

Adriana Ellis led the Lady Buccaneers with seven points.
