HILTON — The Oswego varsity girls swim team placed ninth at the annual Hilton Invitational on Saturday.

Sydney DeLapp was the top finisher at the invite for Oswego. She took fourth in the 100-yard freestyle (55.46 seconds) and 10th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.56).

DeLapp also swam well in two of the Lady Bucs’ relays. She joined Grace Wing, Ciarrah Tynan and Mallory Upcraft for a  fifth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:49.03). The foursome teamed up again in the 400-yard freestyle relay, grabbing eighth (4:03.58).

Wing placed 12th in the 100-yard butterfly. Her time of 27.89 in the 50-yard freestyle was a personal best.

Tynan picked up a couple of top-20 finishes for the Lady Buccaneers, taking 13th in the 200-yard freestyle (2:13.59) and 16th in the 500-yard freestyle (6:01.57).
