OSWEGO — The Oswego varsity boys soccer team edged Oneida 2-1 on Saturday.

Oswego striker Ryan Bakos scored 25 minutes into the first half, assisted by Jack Rice.

Ten minutes later, Oneida striker Zach Friend finished a long ball over the top of the defense to knot the score at 1-1.

Thirty minutes into the second half, Oswego’s Clay Kennedy tallied the winning goal.

The Bucs (2-1) received strong play from Colin Dohse and Markus Baker in the center of the field, and goalkeeper Kyle Familo excelled with nine saves.
