OSWEGO — The Oswego Figure Skating Club recently competed at the Watertown Snow Invitational, and the Empire State Games in Lake Placid.

Mackenzie Turnbull placed second in the basic six elements and basic skills level six programs at the Watertown invite. Avalon Photos took second in the free skate program at the state games, and third in the excel plus free skate and the pre-juvenile jumps events in Watertown.

Cindy Robbins finished second in the basic three elements and third in the basic skills level three programs at the invitational.

For Annie Niger, she came in third for the free skate program at the state games. At the invitational, she placed third in the excel plus free skate event.

Other place-finishers for OFSC at the invitational were Annabella Sobrino taking second in the basic six and basic skills programs; Hannah Pond placing fourth in basic skills level four and fifth in basic skills level four program; Gabby Martin finishing fifth in basic six elements and fourth in the basic skills programs; and Rowan Mott grabbing fifth in both the basic four elements and basic skills level four programs.
