FULTON — The Fulton varsity girls volleyball team beat Jordan-Elbridge, 3-1.

The Lady Raiders won the first set, 25-18, but the Lady Eagles came away with the second set (25-19) to tie the match at 1-1. Fulton finished off J-E with victories in the third (25-12) and fourth (25-9) sets.

Ella Henderson led Fulton with five digs, five aces, two kills and 15 assists. Sydney Lawson chipped in 10 kills, 14 digs, five aces and a block. Jayda Blakeman tallied eight digs and eight assists, while Chyanne Okoniewski tabbed seven kills and a block, and Chloe Hurlbut had 10 kills. Abby Pawlewicz (14 digs) and Hope Mirabito (7 kills) also contributed their efforts.


Mexico 3, APW 1: The Mexico varsity girls volleyball team defeated Altmar-Parish-Williamstown, 3-1.

Mexico won 25-16 and 25-17 in the first two sets. APW took the third set (25-17), but the Lady Tigers locked up the fourth set (25-13) for the match victory.

Melisa Button powered the Lady Tigers with 11 digs, 16 assists, a block and two kills. Kathryn Morgan racked up seven kills and six aces, and Autumn Parkhurst had five digs and six aces. Peyton Rasbeck (6 kills) and Madison Wormuth (6 digs) also contributed to Mexico’s victory.


Cortland 203, Oswego 219: The Oswego varsity boys golf squad lost 203-219 to Cortland at Willowbrook Golf Course.

Ryan Bartlett had a team-low score of 41 for the Buccaneers. Mike Douglas shot a 43, and Kevin Waters carded a 44.


Central Square 4, Oswego 3: The Oswego varsity girls tennis team fell 4-3 to Central Square.

The Lady Buccaneers won all of their singles matches. Abigail McPherson (6-1, 6-0), Victoria Crisafulli (6-4, 6-4), and Sonja Anderson (7-5, 6-2) each won in two sets.

In doubles, the teams of Courtney Mills/Erica Henderson (6-0, 6-1); Laura Cummings/Grace Deland (7-6, 6-4); Kaila Loadwick/Ruhma Khawaja (6-3, 6-1); and Clara Bisk/Zoe Lisk (7-5, 6-1) all lost in two sets.

Jamesville-DeWitt 7, Fulton 0: The Fulton varsity girls tennis team lost 7-0 to Jamesville-DeWitt.

The doubles duos of Leah Kingsbury/Ana Marroquin-Aguilar (6-2, 6-1); Victoria Stoutenger/Jasmine Fauler (6-0, 6-2); Alexis Ingersoll/Olivia Cunningham (6-1, 6-0); and Madeline Brown/Megan Flint (6-1, 6-0) each fell in two sets.

In singles, Katelyin Perkins (6-0, 6-0), Madelyn Delano (6-1, 6-0), and Madison Hotchkiss (6-4, 6-1) all lost in two sets.


Skaneateles 3, Mexico 0: The Skaneateles varsity girls soccer team handed Mexico a 3-0 loss.

Briana Urquhart tallied 16 saves in the net for the Lady Tigers.
