Matchups for the Section III Wrestling Division I and II Duals have been set.

The first day of the dual-meet tournament is today. Division I duals start at 5 p.m. at Paul V. Moore High School in Central Square. Division II duals also begin at 5 p.m., with one half of the bracket at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School and other half at Fayetteville-Manlius High School.

Each dual tournament will go through the semifinal round. The championship dual meets are slated for 6 p.m. Thursday at Cicero-North Syracuse High School.

The winning team of each dual tournament receives an automatic bid to the New York State Dual Meet Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College.

Fulton (22-1) is the top seed of the Division I tournament. The Raiders face eighth-seeded Oswego (4-5) in today’s opening round. The winner of this dual takes on the victor of fifth-seeded JD/CBA and fourth-seeded C-NS in the semifinal round.

Mexico (8-1) is the fourth seed in the Division II tourney. The Tigers go up against fifth-seeded Holland Patent (8-2) today at VVS.

Hannibal/Cato-Meridian (4-4) heads into the Division II duals as the eighth seed. The Warriors take on ninth-seeded Homer (2-2) in today’s pigtail round. The winner of this matchup faces Central Valley Academy (23-2) in the quarterfinal round.

The rest of today’s Division I Dual matchups are sixth-seeded Central Square (10-3) against third-seeded Liverpool (9-0), and second-seeded Indian River (11-0) versus seventh-seeded Carthage (3-1).

The Division II Dual pairings at F-M are seventh-seeded Beaver River (6-3) and 10th-seeded Camden (7-8) in pigtails, with the winner moving on to face second-seeded Mount Markham (11-4); and third-seeded General Brown (9-1) against sixth-seeded Canastota (4-7).
