Youth Fly-Fishing Instruction slated for May 21 and 22

PULASKI — The Tug Hill-Black River Chapter of Trout Unlimited will offer Youth Fly-Fishing Instruction on May 21 and 22 at a site near Pulaski.

This one and one-half day class spread over two successive dates will introduce boys and girls ages 12 and older to basic fly-fishing equipment and fly casting.

Hands-on instruction will enable students to begin fly-fishing on their own. At the completion of the class, the student will be able to set up his or her own fly-fishing equipment and begin a lifelong hobby.

The class will require a nominal fee and parental/adult participation intended to help the student master the concepts in a safe environment.
