OSWEGO — The Oswego State men's tennis team cruised to an 8-1 victory over Utica College Wednesday at Romney Indoor Tennis Courts.

Oswego State is 7-2 on the season. Utica fell to 0-3.

At third doubles, Oswego State's Jimmy Terzian and Tyler Buxbaum won their match, 8-1.

Brian Manciocchi and Justin Scuderi followed with an 8-2 triumph at second doubles. The first doubles team of Spencer Thorn and Brian Emigholz, tied the Utica team 8-8 and then won the tiebreaker, 7-3.

Oswego State won five of the six singles matches. The winners were Sam McGrath, Alex McCarthy, Nick Retzkin, John Stanford, and Jon Matros. They all won in straight sets.

The Lakers' next match is at 4 p.m. Tuesday at home against Keuka College.
