FULTON — The Fulton varsity wrestling team opened its season Saturday with dual meets against Cicero-North Syracuse and Dryden.

The Raiders defeated the Northstars (58-19) and the Lions (69-18).

Fulton hosts Syracuse on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Fulton 58, CNS 19: Recording pinfall victories for the Red Raiders were Dominick Hofmann at 106 pounds (:40), Walter Crofoot at 132 (:46), Sam May at 145 (:46), Camrin Galvin at 170 (3:03), Ian Bogardus at 182 (1:53), Cameron Lugo at 195 (2:54), and Matt Woodworth at 285 (3:14).

Fulton grapplers who were victorious by major decision included Andru Walts at 126 (13-4) and Cole French at 138 (13-0).

Noah Horning won an 8-3 decision at 152 pounds. Cuinn Burlingham at 160 won by technical fall (15-0).

Fulton 69, Dryden 18: Getting pins for Fulton were Nicholas Parrish at 120 pounds (1:35), Aiden Scaringi at 152 (:54), Camrin Galvin at 170 (:41) and Cameron Lugo at 195 pounds (1:23).

At 145, Sam May won a 2-1 decision. Dominick Hofmann (106), Dylan Waldron (113), Andru Walts (126), Cuinn Burlingham (160), Ian Bogardus (182), Shane Goutermout (220), and Matt Woodworth (285) all won by forfeit.
