BALDWINSVILLE — With the forecast of high humidity and a heat index over 100 and warnings from weather bureaus, today’s racing program at Brewerton Speedway and Saturday’s racing at Fulton Speedway have been canceled.
“The health and well-being of all of our racers, race teams, fans, and staff is first and foremost,” said General Manager Cory Reed.
Brewerton Speedway will be back in action Friday, July 26, when Stirling Lubricants/Champion Racing Oil & Milton Cat will present the program.
There will be features for the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, U.S Air Force Mod Lites, and the Fleet Repairs Truck & Trailer Repair Four-Cylinders.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with racing at 7:30 p.m. Fans 18 and younger receive free grandstand admission.
Action returns July 27 to Fulton Speedway with a program sponsored by Stirling Lubricants/Champion Racing Oil.
The Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Late Models will have one of the more fun races of the season when the roofs come off for a topless night of racing. Joining the Late Models will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, and the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman.
The Sportsman class will also be racing feature #2 from June 1.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. and racing is set to start at 7 p.m. Fans 18 and younger receive free grandstand admission.
