SYRACUSE —The Oswego varsity boys golf team topped Syracuse, 211-257, at Drumlins Country Club.

Mike Douglas was the medalist for the Buccaneers, carding a 40 in his effort. Cole Cullinan shot a 41, Jack O’Leary scored a 42, and Neil Roman had a 43. Jack Hall and Ike Calverase each scored a 45, Kevin Waters tabbed a 46, and Ryan Bartlett shot a 47.

Oswego heads to Willowbrook Golf Club in Cortland on Monday to take on the Purple Tigers in a match that begins at 3:30 p.m.

Mexico 229, Homer 236: The Mexico varsity boys golf squad beat Homer, 229-236, at Emerald Crest Golf Course.

Ryan Mosher received medalist honors for the Tigers, scoring a 37. Lyle Trimble carded a 42, Connor Revette shot a 48, and Trevor Coe had a 49. Nathan Burrows scored a 53.

Mexico hosts Tully Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.

Auburn 187, Fulton 219: The Fulton varsity boys golf team lost 187-219 to Auburn at Battle Island State Park Golf Course.

Robert Voss led the Raiders with a 37. Trey White carded a 39, Matt Woodworth shot a 44, and Tanner Emmons scored a 48. Lucas Nelson tabbed a 51.

Fulton hosts Cortland Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.


Mexico 5, Phoenix 2: The Mexico varsity girls tennis team beat Phoenix, 5-2.

In singles, Juliana Smith (6-2, 6-3) and Paige Masrouri (6-1, 6-2) each won in two sets. Caitlyn Hackett fell in two sets (6-0, 6-0).

The doubles duos of Juliana Hernandez/Tori Stores (6-0, 6-1); Alivia Kelsey/Shelby Schumacher (6-3, 6-4); and Amita Druce/Alana Rice (6-0, 6-1) all won their matches in two sets. Haylee Mannise and Grace Schipper (6-3, 6-1) lost in two sets.

The Lady Tigers host Christian Brothers Academy Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
