OSWEGO — The Elks Lodge posted victories over Vona’s and Bosco’s recently in Oswego Little League Majors Division baseball action.

Elks 9, Vona’s 2: Daniel Callen pitched 5.2 effective innings and Adam Greene closed out the win as the Elks topped Vona’s.

The Elks were led offensively by Greene and Ethan King. Each had a double and a single.

Others getting hits were Mason Naumann (2), Tommy Kirwan, Nolan Roy, David Curry, Jameson Stepien, and Luis Correa.

Luis Colon Molina pitched an excellent game for Vona’s, followed by Gabe Cook. Molina led Vona’s with three hits, while Evan Rood, Jack Wallace, and Malia Upcraft also had hits for Vona’s.

Elks 18, Bosco’s 8: Nolan Roy, Mason Naumann, and Jameston Stepien combined to pitch the win for the Elks.

Tommy Kirwan paced the offense with three hits, while Naumann (2), Roy (2), Stepien (2), Ethan King, and Adam Greene also hit safely.

Daniel Callen reached base in all five plate appearances. David Curry and Luis Correa also each reached base.

Gavin Ruggio, Ian Partlow, Noah Caroccio, and Kevin Waters pitched for Bosco’s. Ruggio and Adam Gfeller got hits for Bosco’s. Noah Caroccio, Kevin Waters, Brodie Woods, Eli Belawske, and Thomas Rolfe all reached base.

Correa, Woods, and Belawske made great defensive plays in the game.
