OSWEGO — The third annual Celeste Wells Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 15 at Stone Creek Golf Club in the town of Oswego.
Golf will start at 9 a.m.
The event has a captain-and-crew format, with four golfers per team.
Registration includes 18 holes of golf, a hot dog at the turn, and a meal following golf. There will also be a closest-to-the-pin contest, a longest-drive contest, a putting contest, a silent auction for gift baskets, and a lottery board.
Proceeds will go to Road2RecoveryCNY (www.road2recoverycny.com). Last year, the tournament raised $5,100. Some money went toward HOPE For Bereaved in Fulton, and the rest went to Road2RecoveryCNY.
To sign up or for more information, call Jody Wells at 315-402-5189 or Kelly Wells at 315-402-5444.
The tournament is named in memory of the Wells’ daughter Celeste, who died in 2016 at age 28 of a drug overdose. She was a Hannibal High School graduate who went on to become a certified nurse assistant at St. Luke Health Services.
