SYRACUSE — The Oswego modified boys soccer team defeated Fowler, 2-1, on Friday.

The Buccaneers scored their first goal when Cooper Fitzgerald found the back of the net the first five minutes of the game. Teigen Patane provided the assist on Fitzgerald’s goal.

With five minutes remaining in the first half, Patane capitalized on an assist from Duncan Baker for a goal that gave Oswego a 2-0 advantage.

Goalkeeper Shane Bond and the Bucs defense allowed just one goal from the Falcons, and went into shutdown mode the rest of the way.
