To the editor,
I am a lady of 102 years. An active catholic all my life. Serving with both the Legion Of Mary, and The Catholic Daughters For over the past 30, years. I remain a member of both these organizations today as well as an active member of St. Mary’s Church.
I am writing because I greatly need the understanding and cooperation of Pope Francis in this tremendous misconception of what God really desires. He did not wish or expect at anytime for priests to live as He did. He did not create them biologically like himself. We would have thousands of Virgin Mother’s but we do not. Virgin Mary is the mother of His son, Jesus, that is all.
He created all men including all priests to be husbands, fathers, and protectors of their families.
He still wants them to follow Him by teaching His way of love, peace, caring for each other and no jealousy or anger allowed.
That is all the proof we need to know his wishes.
I would ask Pope Francis: if you allow priests to marry and have families, they can still do their priestly duties, and more young men will rush to become priest. I believe it would help to bring back more people to the church.
This will mean survival of our world, our faith, and our future for our children.
Will you please give this serious thought? Allowing priests to have families as other men do.
Thank you in Jesus name.
