Valerie Congrove passed away Jan. 15, 2020. She was born April 18, 1963 and grew up in the Mexico, New York area. She worked as a planner at Huhtamaki until leaving in 2013 to follow her husband, Sidney, to California where she was able to live a wonderful life traveling, riding on the back of his Harley, and having days filled with steak and Mimosas.
She was a kind and free spirited woman who lived her life the way she wanted to. She always put others first and somehow had a way of bringing everyone together. She always believed that if you have something to give, you should give it, always forgive, and love hard no matter what.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Congrove; two sons, Randy and Zachary Wright; daughter, Alicia Durkee; grandson, Terryn Wright; her dearest sister, Laurie Cleveland; and two brothers, Chris and Gordon Brown.
A celebration of life was held in her honor on Jan. 25, 2020 by her family and friends.
We would like to thank those who attended.
