OSWEGO — Thomas K. Marshall, 66, of Oswego, died May 23, 2019.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Theresa (Furnari) Marshall. He received his Associates Degree from SUNY Delhi and was a member of Sigma Tau Chi at SUNY Oswego. Tom loved music, attending many concerts and local area blues festivals with friends and family. He was an avid outdoorsman, boater and fisherman, enjoying the waters off the gulf of Mexico during his time in Florida, and Lake Ontario.
He resided in Florida for 17 years where he made many friends and worked as an electrician. Returning to Oswego, he worked for the school district as resident electrician, and also as energy manager reducing costs throughout the schools. Tom was affable and well liked across many social circles for his sense of humor. He loved his family and showed a particular aptitude for picking out great pets.
Surviving are his two sons, Roy Marshall of Rochester and Andrew (Mallory) Marshall of Oswego; his wife Katherine (Timmerhans) Marshall of Oswego; his sister Carol (Joe) Jadus of Oswego; a grandson Jack Marshall; sister-in-law Florence Marshall; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Robert Marshall.
Calling hours will be held 3-6 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
