Joseph A. Bosco, Jr., 62 of Batavia and a former resident of Oswego, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Joseph A. and Barbara Anne Schaefer Bosco.
Mr. Bosco was the husband of Geri Klingler.
He was a graduate of Oswego Catholic High School and Alfred State University.
Mr. Bosco was a longtime Communicant of St. Mary’s Church where he was active in the Choir and was a Reader.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Katherine E. Bosco of Buffalo and Ellen J. (Michael Brennan) Bosco of Buffalo; two sons, Joseph A. (Kelly) Bosco III of Rochester and Stephen A. Bosco of Buffalo; three sisters, Theresa (Thomas) Himes, Patricia Chipman, Mary (Maurice) St. Germain; and one brother, John (Kathleen) Bosco, all of Oswego; and two grandchildren, Elise Brennan and Hannah Bosco.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours are 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.
