OSWEGO — Jack R. Bobbett, 11, of Oswego passed unexpectedly on July 24, 2019.
Born in Oswego, Jack was the son of Ryan and Maureen (Frawley) Bobbett.
Jack attended Oswego city schools. He was a student for most of his years at Fitzhugh Park School and then attended Kingsford Park School for his 6th grade year. Jack had many friends, passions, was active and athletic. He loved his family and loved hanging out with his friends.
Jack was a hockey player and enjoyed playing on his team for Oswego Minor Hockey and attending the SUNY Oswego Lakers games. He was a NY Rangers and NY Yankees fan. He also loved his time camping with his family in Canada. He enjoyed video games, music, reading and history.
He is survived by his loving parents, his sister Delaney, his paternal grandparents, Kathleen Bobbett of Oswego and John Bobbett of Fulton; his Aunt Kari and Uncle Ryan Blake of Fulton; Uncle Daniel and Aunt Stephanie Bobbett of Buffalo, and Uncle Kevin Bobbett of Baldwinsville; also his great grandparents, Judy and Robert Young, Howard Manley, and Dorothy Frawley; and several great-aunts, uncles, and cousins and cherished friends.
Jack was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Vickie Frawley and Bruce Frawley.
Calling hours will be 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, with a service to follow at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St.
