SCRIBA — Edna Mae Davis, 61, a life resident of Scriba, passed away May 21, 2019, at her son’s home in North Carolina, under hospice care after a short and courageous battle with ALS.
Born in Fulton, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Rebecca Piersall Davis and was a graduate of Mexico Academy High School. She attended Sacred Heart Church in Scriba.
Edna was currently employed at Huhtamaki in Fulton for 38 years.
Edna was a fun and loving person. She was the life of any party. She was special to everyone who knew her. She especially enjoyed camping with her family.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Davis of Scriba and Mac (Karen Lenhart) Davis of Denton, North Carolina; one sister, Barbara (Myron) Johnson of Georgia; two brothers, Herbert (Sandy) Davis of Volney and Robert (Melinda) Davis of Volney; seven grandchildren; one aunt; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and many very close and special friends.
A very special thank you to daughter-in-law Karen and grandson Cody for all their special help and care.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Howard, Ezra, Clarance and Joel, and one granddaughter, Jennifer Lenhart.
There are no services or calling hours.
A celebration of life will be held in August at a time and date to be announced.
