FULTON — Carolyn E. Vannucci, 79, of Fulton, died July 28, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Jane (Belaski) Sovie. 

Carolyn was born in Fulton, New York, and remained a lifetime resident. She graduated from Fulton High School, Rochester University and Auburn Community College. Carolyn was a Registered Nurse and Nursing Supervisor at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital for more than 39 years.  She also worked at many local physician offices in the area.

She was a tireless caregiver in the community, both inside and outside of the hospital. 

Carolyn was a member of the Republican City Club, Fulton Polish Home Women’s Auxiliary, St. Michael’s Church and the American Nurses Credentials for Coronary Care.

She was an avid traveler and loved the beach and spending summers at her camp on Lake Ontario. Carolyn enjoyed life and was happiest when spending time with family, friends and her beloved dogs.

Carolyn is survived by her son Todd Vannucci of New York; daughter Terri Lynn (Mark) Webb of Fulton; grandsons Justin St. Phillips (Nahal Beik) of Boston, Massachusetts, Michael Webb (Melissa) of Syracuse and Casey Webb of Fulton; granddaughter Michelle Landon of Rochester; and great-grandchildren Riley, Avery and Parker St. Phillips and Eli and Jack Landon.

There are no calling hours. 

Memorial services will be private.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Oswego County Animal Shelter.
