OSWEGO — New details have come to light on the case of the deceased female found Tuesday by the Lake Ontario shore off Mercer Street and East Ninth Street.

Oswego city police have identified the woman as Karen Aubertine, 32, of Oswego.

Preliminary investigations suggest there was no suspicious activity surrounding her death, according to police. 

Oswego City Police Department is working with the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine a cause of death, according to officials from the police department.

Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
