LACONA, N.Y. – A Lacona man faces multiple felony charges after allegedly photographing women without their knowledge or permission.
State police arrested 43-year-old William J. Spearance II and charged the Lacona man with two counts each of second-degree unlawful surveillance, a class E felony, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
Spearance is charged with taking photographs of two females in various stages of undress without their knowledge and uploading the images via the internet. Authorities also allege Spearance possessed two modified and unregistered assault rifles.
State police said Spearance was transported to Oswego City Court for centralized arraignment and remanded to the Oswego County Public Safety Center with a $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
