HANNIBAL — The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office Friday charged a Hannibal man following an investigation into an alleged sex offense first reported in August.
Timothy E. Bartlett, 38, of Hannibal, was charged with first-degree sex abuse, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, police said.
Bartlett was arraigned in the Hannibal Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash and $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court on Oct. 25.
Bartlett was previously charged with stabbing a male relative during a 2010 domestic altercation. He was convicted of assault in the third degree on June 9, 2011 and forced to pay $1220.14 in resolution, according to county court records.
