Top fundraiser

Sixth-grader Marley Yerdon, center, is pictured with Joe DePaulis, a representative from Great American Opportunity, and Kim Curley, sixth-grade class adviser, following a prize awards ceremony for a recent magazine sale fundraiser at Sandy Creek Middle School. Yerdon was the top salesperson for the magazine sale by selling 25 subscriptions to friends and family. For her efforts, Yerdon was awarded a four-pack of tickets to Wonder Works at Destiny USA. Proceeds from the magazine sales go to each class ' eighth-grade trip.
