Buccaneer students back to classes full time

Wednesday was the first day of school for many Port City students, including those at Charles E. Riley Elementary School on the east side of Oswego, seen above disembarking before the opening bell. “We are so thrilled to welcome students back into the hallways,” said Oswego City School District Superintendent Dr. Mathis Calvin III. “There is nothing like the energy that the first day brings, and I want to applaud every single staff members’ hard work and perseverance in helping us reach this point. We are ready for a great year, welcome back Bucs!”
